Lee has over 30 years experience in the Financial Services Industry. He joined Williams Financial Planning Ltd in January 2005.

Lee has considerable expertise in many areas of financial planning including inheritance tax planning, trust and tax planning and international investments.

Lee is a qualified Chartered Financial Planner, the highest of the Chartered Insurance Institute’s financial planning qualifications, and a qualified Pension Transfer Specialist. He also graduated with BA Hons from the University of Wales.

Lee lives in Dodleston with his wife and children. In his leisure time, Lee is a keen sports fan, a lifelong supporter of Aston Villa and is still trying to master playing the guitar.

Richard Williams

Richard has 26 years’ experience in the Financial Services Industry, providing bespoke advice to both business and personal clients. His vast experience means he fully understands the issues and constraints when managing personal and Trust wealth. He prides himself on helping clients achieve their financial goals.

Managing the business on a daily basis Richard understands the issues faced by small business owners and is ideally placed to provide advice to corporate clients.

Living in Wrexham with his wife and two children, Richard is a qualified coach and referee at Wrexham Rugby club. A keen cyclist and charity fundraiser Richard can often be found lycra-clad in training for his next challenge.

After graduating from Liverpool John Moores University in 2007 with a BA Hons in History, Kate then began her career in the financial services industry and has gained a varied wealth of knowledge and experience. Kate joined WFP in April 2017 and is always on hand to help with any questions or queries.

Outside of work Kate enjoys spending time with her friends and family and is usually found in the gym most evenings. Kate successfully completes many local charity challenges from 5 & 10k runs to Tough Mudder obstacle courses.

Lucy first joined Williams Financial Planning in 2017 as a young scanning clerk before re-joining the team in 2021 as an administrator. Lucy aspires to become level 4 qualified and progress her career within the company. She is always on hand to help and makes an excellent coffee!

Outside of work you’ll find Lucy travelling the length of the country seeking out the best beauty spots the UK has to offer. Wild swimming and long walks are some of her favourite ways to explore although she’s always up for a new adventure.

Lourdes has worked in financial services since leaving college, she joined WFP in 2010 and brings many years of administration experience from her previous roles. Lourdes specialises in investments and attention to detail is one of her many strengths, providing excellent support to our clients.

She likes to spend time with her husband and their dog Millie, long walks in the countryside are usually part of her weekend plans. Lourdes also has a keen interest in conservation and often gives up her spare time to help with a number of wildlife charities.

John joined Williams Financial in 2022 after spending time mentoring under Richard, he has successfully completed his level 4 Diploma with the CISI and is working towards chartered status. Prior to this John worked as a PGA Golf Professional for the last 9 years, completing his Professional Golf Studies degree with the University of Birmingham and graduating with the Titleist Award for outstanding achievement.

At home John enjoys relaxing with his wife Sarah and their two cats Spike & Bruno. He has a passion for golf and many other sports, along with Italian cooking and playing the guitar.

Emma Goldsmith

Emma joined Williams Financial Planning in 2019, having worked in financial services since 2001. She has achieved the Regulated Diploma in Financial Planning and has a wealth of experience across all aspects of the industry, having previously held a senior compliance role for a national IFA network for 10 years.

Outside of work Emma spends most of her time chasing after her two very active young sons. To relax she can be found cooking up a storm in the kitchen and then burning off all those calories either doing a HIIT session at the gym or running/walking in the North Shropshire countryside.

Katie joined Williams Financial Planning in 2019 and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in Investment and Pension administration having worked in Financial Services for over 13 years. Katie started her career working for the Woolwich Building Society and then for Barclays in Chester and moved into the world of Independent Financial Advisers in 2006.

Katie’s time outside of work is enjoyed spending time with family and friends, with her two young boys taking up most of her time.

 

Karen Williams

Karen graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a BSc in Quantity Surveying and began a career in the construction industry, before joining Williams Financial Planning in 2003. Karen heads up the Williams admin team as the office manager, as well as dealing with IT and back office systems to ensure that all client and firm deadlines are met through efficient use of our database systems.

When she’s not providing a free taxi service to her teenage son, Karen enjoys socialising with family and friends and has a long travel list.

Sion Williams

Sion joined Williams Financial in 2020 and has three years’ experience of working in financial services. Prior to that, he worked in a local estate agency for 7 years but decided to take a career change and joined the financial services sector. He has gained the CII R01 and R02 qualifications and is now working towards becoming Level 4 qualified.

Outside of work, Sion enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as exploring the great outdoors that North Wales has to offer.

Tim Williams

Tim has a wealth of experience after working for Independent Financial Advisers for 18 years, he has been part of the Williams Team for over 10 years and heads up the Pension department. Tim specialises in SIPP Property purchases and has a keen interest in all things pension related.

Outside of work Tim enjoys spending time with his wife and their 12 year old daughter who keeps them busy! Tim enjoys the odd game of football and walking, both activities usually ending with a visit to the pub.
